Question: How can I fit a washboard without using nails?

Answer: You will need an alcohol-based silicone or adhesive such as Superfix from Casco. Remember to read the user guide before starting! If the wall is uneven, you will have to secure the strip in place until the adhesive is dry. It's easiest to remove any surplus silicone of glue when it's dry. Cut using a sharp knife on both sides and pull the glue off.

Question: Are there any plugs to go in the end of a concave strip, or can you recommend any other way of finishing them off?

Answer: There are no plugs for this purpose, but you can finish them attractively by making a "reverse mitre", i.e. cut the end as if it was an external corner, cut the remainder as if you were going to continue around the corner, and then cut a little piece off and glue it on to the strip. It's easy to do, but hard to explain! The illustrations show the strip from above.

1. Cut strip as you would for an external corner and fit to worktop.	2. Cut a triangle from the remaining piece, as shown on the illustration.	3. Glue the small triangle as a plug on the end of the strip.

Question: I need a moulding able to curve into an arch.

Answer: Heat the moulding up to approx. 60 degrees C using an oven or hot air gun. See instructions
